Our Process

How we identify, source, and rate.

Confidence ratings

Every product on clocked.tech carries one of three confidence ratings. These appear on every feed card and product page.

verified

Confirmed by a primary source — the brand, the production, the prop department, or official press materials. No ambiguity.

likely

High confidence based on visible detail — model numbers, colorways, brand marks, and cross-reference with known production stills or promotional materials. Not yet formally confirmed.

identifying

We're actively working on it. Something is visible on screen, we have a strong lead, but we haven't reached a conclusion we're confident enough to call likely or verified.

How we identify products

Identification starts with what's visible on screen. We cross-reference production stills, promotional materials, press releases, brand announcements, and where relevant, public statements from prop departments, costume designers, and set decorators.

We do not guess and present guesses as fact. When identification details are thin, the confidence rating reflects that. When we can't confirm something we thought we could, we update the rating.

Corrections

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it and note the correction on the product page. Identification is a research process — new information changes conclusions.

If you have sourced information that contradicts an identification on this site, contact us. We take corrections seriously.

Product placement vs. independent selection

Where we know whether a product was commercially placed or independently selected by a production, we say so. This context matters. We document it when we have it and acknowledge when we don't.

Availability

We note whether a product is currently in stock, out of stock, or discontinued at the time of writing. We include a last-checked date. Availability changes — if something we've listed as in stock is no longer available, let us know.
